Alexandria is a custom order for Siobhán, my wife and extremely very favorite human. I dip-dyed the skeins in a bath of "black" dye (it was breaking up into various cool/warm tones) and picked up some warm browns, then overdyed with purple (which itself broke into some various shades of violet, pink, and lavender). This yarn base, Home, is soft-but-sturdy worsted weight yarn. I'd use it for sweaters, hats, scarves, blankets—it's versatile, but still great for next-to-skin wear. It's 100% fine organic merino in a 4-ply; 219 yds, 100g. Hand wash, dry flat.
